Christmas Party!!!
Chapter 3
It is the day before Christmas and today is the party. Me and my friends still haven't found our dresses yet. We don't want to look super fancy, but we don't want to look like we don't care. We decided that Lilac and me will have an icy blue dress since I have the violin and Lilac is the main singer. We decided to slow down 'Let It Snow' so I could play it on my violin without ruining it.
1 HOUR LATER...
We have narrowed it down to baby pink and light purple for the dresses. White would look pretty, but we're not going to a wedding.
It's been 15 minutes and we decided on a light purple. We know the colors, we just don't have our dresses, so we are headed to a dress shop with McGonagall. McGonagall is coming because she doesn't want us to go alone, and she needs a dress. McGonagall decided on magenta with a little bit of pink.
BACK AT HOGWARTS...
Lilac's dress and my dress are identical: long sleeve, tight top, flowy at the bottom. Everybody elses dress is the same style as ours: long sleeve, tight top, flowy at the bottom. Except theirs is light purple.
AFTER THE DANCE...
Now it's 7:00 P.M. and all the houses are supposed to be in their common room eating. Before we started eating everybody changed into normal clothes.
AFTER EATING...
We ate for about 1 hour, then played a chess tournament for about another hour. For the tournament, we each had a partner from our dorm, and whoever won that moved onto the next round. In 1st place was Natalie, a girl from a different dorm, in 2nd, me, and in 3rd, Bryson, a boy from a different dorm. Now it's 9:00 and we're all going to bed.
