Most people think that Slytherins are bad or evil. But they're wrong. Slytherins just have a bad reputation because of Lord Voldemort and Draco Malfoy. But there are nice Slytherins. The Sorting Hat doesn't just place mean or bad people in Slytherin. There are plenty of other mean people in other houses. Look at Zacharias Smith, a Hufflepuff, and very arrogant and mean, look at Professsor Quirrell, a Ravenclaw who worked for Voldemort, look at James Potter, a Gryffindor who hexed people because it was fun, and look at Peter Pettigrew, a Death Eater who was in Gryffindor. There are plenty of nice Slytherins. I'm sure that any Slytherins reading this would agree. Albus Potter, and Scorpius Malfoy were Slytherins and perfectly nice. And don't forget Andromeda Tonks, Tonk's mother. She was a Slytherin and she's nice. Also, remember Professor Slughorn! He's not evil! Slytherins are ambitious, but ambition isn't bad. Ambition is only bad when someone will do anything to get what they want. I encourage you to review your idea of Slytherin.
