Chapter 4
Remus had asked Sirius what on Earth a motorcycle was, so of course Sirius had to take him on a ride. They hadn't started dating yet or anything, but the feelings were there. Before they went out, Sirius just HAD to take Remus shopping for some sweet biker clothes. They went to Diagon Alley (using a borrowed invisibility cloak. Thanks James) Sirius was SO excited to take Remus shopping, and Remus was secretly hoping that he could buy some stuff for Sirius.
They turned into a store, and both went CRAZY, grabbing everything off the racks. Remus grabbed a polo shirt, sweater, slacks, and khaki pants. Sirius grabbed a white tee, jeans, combat boots, and a leather jacket. Out of sight of the other, both took a deep breath and grabbed rainbow scarves. Remus looked around, and grabbed two rainbow sweaters, Sirius did the same, but with T-shirts. They buried the rainbow stuffs under the other clothes and met each other in the dressing room.
Remus excitedly thrust the clothes at Sirius, who met him with a smile, and handed him the outfit he had chosen. Each kept one of the rainbow items for themselves, smiling a little inside. In unison, they headed into their rooms to change. Remus was sifting through the leather and cotton uncertainly before finally coming to the rainbow tee. He smiled, and reluctantly put the clothes on. In the room next door Sirius was also sifting through the preppy stuff Remus had picked. Just like his crush next door, he came to the rainbow sweater, and it made him reluctantly get dressed. Remus spun around in front of the mirror, breaking into a smile. Wow. I look good. I wonder what Sirius will think... He looked again one last time, and went out to meet him.
Meanwhile next door Sirius was grinning overexcitedly. Wow I look like a nerd. Why do I like that so much? He thought to himself. Because I think He will like it. Sirius admitted to himself. "Now or never" he whispered. With that, he sashayed out of the dressing room. "Oh my gosh Moony!" Sirius' hand flew up over his mouth. Was their really a golden aura around the guy in front of him? Sirius was speechless. "Wow...Just...Wow." Sirius stammered. Remus felt strangely confident at his reaction. "You don't look so bad yourself." He pointed out. Is that a blush? DID I MAKE HIM BLUSH? his mind screamed. SIRIUS ARE YOU BLUSHING? STOP BLUSHING! AAAA BUT REMUS! Sirius argued with himself. "You're cute when you're flustered." Remus said. WHAT IS COMING OUT OF MY MOUTH? His mind screamed. WHAT DID HE JUST SAY? AAAAAAAAAAAAA REMUS THINKS IM CUTE! Sirius' brain FREAKED OUT. "Well, Moony, you're cute all the time." "Really?" "Why do you think I gave u a RAINBOW TEE?" " Is it for the same reason I gave you a rainbow sweater?" They had drawn closer. When had that happened? Sirius could see all the scars on Remus' face. Remus could count the freckles on Sirius' nose. Wait, Sirius had freckles? "Was it because you like me?" Sirius whispered "Maybe" Replied Remus. "Is that why you gave me the shirt?" He could smell Sirius toothpaste "Yes" Sirius replied. As it turned out, Remus used strawberry flavored lip balm.
