Lights! Camera! Action!

Chapter 1
“Miss Evergreen! 10 minutes ‘till filming, Miss Evergreen!”
Abigail Evergreen fixed the servant with a steely look.
“I know that we’re filming soon, Allora, you don’t have to tell me every 20 seconds.” Abigail’s crisp, British accent easily carried over to Allora from the other end of the dressing room. Allora visibly stiffened at Abigail’s voice; even though she was only 16, Miss Evergreen was known for her sharp-as-knives tongue and even sharper nails.
“Apologies, Miss. I’ll take my leave.” Allora mumbled, and hurried out of the dressing room, past the boxes of flowers, chocolates, jewels and other gifts from Abigail's inhumane amount of fans.
“Good riddance.” Abigail huffed, before continuing doing her makeup. “I’ll have Mummy and Daddy fire her. That’ll be worth a laugh!” Abigail knew her parents wouldn't refuse her. After all, they LOVED their darling baby girl, didn't they? If they said no, all she had to do was play the “you don’t love me” card, and they’d bend over backwards for her. Easy.

To put it simply, Abigail Evergreen was the very definition of a spoiled rich girl. Her father made billions selling toaster strudels-his proud inventions- whilst Abigail’s mother was a Bucci model, bringing home diamonds and gems everyday, most of which would be tossed into the ever growing pile of riches Abigail didn’t like.
Abigail was beautiful too; long blond-brown hair that perfectly framed her ivory skin. Her plump, pink lips were the envy of every lipstick model in Manhattan, and her brilliant blue eyes would sparkle under spotlights and camera flashes. Basically, she was gorgeous. And she knew it too.

Abigail checked her makeup in the mirror, and stalked out onto the film set, her chiffon dress curling around her ankles. Her heels tapped on the polished wood floor, and servants and film crew alike moved out of her way, like Moses parting the Red Sea. Her one of her personal servants, Esther, rushed up and handed Abigail her script. Esther was probably the closest thing Abigail had for a friend, though she would never admit it. Abigail walked up to the director.
“Well, Edward? What scene are we doing today?” Abigail inquired.
Edward gave a nervous chuckle. “Actually, Miss Evergreen, the movies been, been…”
“Oh, spit it out already!” Abigail snapped.
“The movie’s been cancelled!” Edward cried. “Cancelled! Miss Evergreen, you're fired!”

Abigail’s jaw tightened. Her throat emitted a low growling noise as she snarled at the director.
“What did you say?” Her voice was dangerously soft.
“The movie was cancelled because of your father’s company.” Edward explained.
“But Daddy would never do that to me!” Abigail gasped. Esther ran up to her.
“Miss, you don’t understand. Your father didn’t cancel the movie. He knew how much you were looking forward to it. You see, the movie was cancelled because…” Esther paused for effect.
“...Your father’s company went bankrupt. Your family has run out of money.”
