Protego Horribilis
Chapter 13
Protego Horribilis is the incantation of a powerful protective charm. It is probably the most powerful version of the Shield Charm, which is used as a protective enchantment against anything approaching the protected area, and against any Dark magic, except the Killing Curse.
The killing curse can never be blocked by any shield charm, there is nothing you can do. Of course, except, be Harry Potter. But that doesn't work for the majority of us.
This spell was one of the ones used in the Battle Of Hogwarts all those years ago. It helped to defend this school and protect the good Wizards and Witch's who fought against the large number of death eaters.
This spell takes quite a bit of concentration so dueling with it would be difficult but it would be good for defending against something or someone really powerful.
