Protego Diabolica is the incantation of a powerful dark spell that allows the user to create a protective ring of black fire around them that completely incinerates enemies of the caster who come into contact with it while leaving their allies unharmed.
This is a very dangerous spell to be playing around with and I do not recommend using it at all, but it is a protection spell.
Protego Diabolica is a dark arts spell, meaning its dark magic, the kind Voldemort used, grouped into the same category as Crucio and Avada Kedavra.
Although dangerous, it is a powerful spell that could be great use during a wizarding war, not everyday life.
