Class Struggles And Triumphs

Chapter 5

One noteworthy fact I should mention, is that history classes do not come at all naturally to me. In America, prior to my Hogwarts arrival, the only things that teachers expected me to remember were some dates and places. at Hogwarts, every aspect from names, to dates, and places, and things were up for review. As the course content is all about the past, I see little merit in tutoring, as long as you read the textbook and remember enough of the material to get by. My sister is encouraging whenever the stress of History of Magic gets to me, but mostly she is focused on her own studies, as she should be. At the very least, I have Tara to help quiz me on dates and people, as we have the exact same history class together. As far as my other classes are concerned, I do sometimes go to tutoring for transfiguration. Sally is unusually keen on herbology, so we often study the subject together. My favorite course is undeniably charms class. Learning concentration and willpower helped improved my spell casting so much over the months of learning I've done. I even reached a point where I could help out all of my friends with their charm work.

As far as classes i would like to take, divination seems extremely fascinating. I can't wait to see what I can accomplish in the world of the divine.
