It was a rainy day back home, which was typical considering the day before was perfectly nice and sunny.  My sisters were fighting about stealing each others clothes as per usual, when my loyal Barn Owl came to my window.  I immediately opened the window latch as jinxes were flying around between my sisters, and my mother was yelling at the girls to make peace with each other.  The alarm system went off immediately as I opened the window to let my owl in.  My father yelled at me for waking him up from his nap due to opening my window which I couldn't help at all.  The moment I mentioned my owl delivering my mail, everyone raised suspicion.  I never get mail unless it's my birthday, which had been two months prior to this arrival.  We all had a hunch as to what correspondence I received, and as I sat nervously looking at the letter, everyone crowded my room and door to wait for me to open what was unquestionably the letter from Hogwarts.  Feeling the pressure from my family, I hastily opened the letter and read it's contents.  I knew that it was a matter of time before I was accepted.  I told everyone in the room what the letter said, and then they started to laugh in joy.  "Hogwarts?  Accept you??," My Older sister teased, "Surely they have the wrong person."  I weathered the storm for as long as I could before my dad agreed to go online to pay for my ticket to school.  This was the beginning of the rest of my magical life, and I couldn't wait to see what the future had in store.
