Chapter 41- The Yule Ball
Chapter 41
I stare at myself in the mirror. My hair was in a half-ponytail and my dress is long, puffy at the bottom and black. My makeup is this;
Lips- Scarlet Red
Cheeks- A hint of pink
Yeah. I have silver feather earrings. I can't wait for the Ball. I quickly slip on my shiny black heels and head down the stairs. I'm meeting Fred where the Ball is being held. "Where are you going?" Goyle asked.
"The Yule Ball. Where i will meet my date." I replied.
"O-oh." Goyle stuttered, staring at me. I roll my eyes and head towards the Ball.
I make a dramatic entrance and everyone stops and stares. "Oi! Sophie!" Fred said, smiling at me, offering his arm to me. I smile and accept his arm and he pulls me to the dance floor.
"Thanks for taking me, Fred." I say, smiling.
"It's not a problem, Sophie." Fred smiled, beginning the dance.
"You're so sweet." I said. Fred blushed.
"Thanks." He said.
After some time, a slow dance starts me and Fred rush to the dance floor and begin dancing. [The song is 'Perfect by: Ed Sheeran]
Me and him dance, it's like from a fairy tale. Eventually, he leans in and kisses me. I'm shocked but don't pull away, i kiss him back. He wraps his arms around my waist and i wrap my arms around his neck. He smiles and i smile back. Eventually, we both pull away, blushing. "S-sorry." Fred apologises.
"It's fine." I say. Fred smiles at me and i smile back.
The dance ends and i kiss Fred on the cheek then head off to the common room. I change into my Hogwarts outfit and flop on my bed, i'm so happy!
