Miles Apart Beside You
written by UwU
The war is over, and Harry and Ginny head back for their final year of Hogwarts, in the hopes that everything can be normal for the first time in their lives. But when you're the Boy Who Lived normal, simply isn't part of the equation. School, memories, stress, friends, and romance add up to one crazy senior year. When a former enemy rises again everyone will be forced to choose between a past they hope to forget, or a future that seems uncertain. I'll try to add to it pretty often so If you like it so far please add it to your bookshelf! If you also like Hamilton then read Ahead of Our Time. It's just Lams fanfiction I've written.

Before we begin: A quick note.
Chapter 1
Hi! I'm Caroline Way, just another Ravenclaw working through my first year at Hogwarts. This is my first book, so please don't be too harsh!
A note on Characters:
Goyle is present in this story, despite the fact that in the movies he dies. In the book, it is Crabbe that casts the feindfyre and dies. In such circumstances when the books and movies disagree I will use the books as the correct source.
Note on perspectives:
This uses alternating perspectives of Harry and Draco. In some scenes, the perspectives alternate very quickly. When this happens I put punctuation before to make it easier to read.
~indicades Draco
-indicates Harry
Example:
~I walked over the drifts of snow to meet his eyes.
-I watched as Draco drew closer, clearly trying to make a bad situation worse
~He eyes me suspiciously, I suppose I've earned it. I do just want to talk this time.
-"Leave me alone Draco!" I called out to him
~"Leave me alone Draco!" he called to me. I brushed it off. Clearly he needed someone to talk to
Now, on to the good stuff!
