Leaving For Hogwarts
Chapter 3
I woke up the next morning, a bit refreshed, but still tired. I got out of bed, then headed to the kitchen for breakfast. I ate some sausage, scrambled eggs, and toast, then went and took a shower. I returned to my room and dressed in a fresh, white button down shirt, a fresh skirt, tights, and my boots. I went back to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, did my hair, pulling my hair back into two braids, and put a bit of makeup on, just some clear pink lip gloss. I didn't wear my glasses, but I put them in my breast pocket and then I grabbed all my bags I had packed and went to the living room. My mother made sure that I was ready, while my dad had returned to my room to get Feliks, someone that I couldn't carry while carrying the rest of my bags. Once I had everything ready to go, Father kissed me and Mother goodbye and Mother and I began carrying everything to the car. Once everything was in the car, Mother and I began the trip to the train station so I could catch my train to Hogwarts. The car ride was relatively uneventful and I spent the time staring out the window and napping a bit.
I must have slept for longer than I thought, because when I woke up, we were in the parking lot of the train station and Mother was handing me my ticket. We got out of the car and she helped me put all my stuff on a cart so I wouldn't have to carry it all myself. She pointed to where I had to go, explained how to get there, kissed me on the cheek, and left. I followed her instructions carefully and made my way to the train, pushing my cart along as I walked. Once I made it to the strange barrier separating the rest of the people from the Hogwarts train, I went through and waited to board the train.
