Giving your pygmy puffs what they need

Chapter 2
Of course the first thing your pygmy puff needs is a name, you can´t call it pygmy puff all it´s life! When you look at your pygmy puff and say it´s name you should feel a sense of pride and triumph knowing that you found the perfect name, if you don´t feel that, you should think of finding it a new name. You can name your pygmy anything from Kevin to Dobby, as long as it feels right.

Next, you should make your pygmy puff a house, you can make it out of a cardboard box or an old fish tank. If you make it out of a cardboard box, here´s a few tips, cut of the top, or part of it at least, and also cut a door big enough for you pygmy to get through. Then you should write you pygmy puff´s name on the side of the box. Make sure to put lots of soft blankets, small toys, and pillows inside so that it´s comfortable.

When you´re feeding your pygmy puff, you should keep in mind that they eat almost everything. You should offer them different things and find out what they like best. Keep your pygmy puff away from anything you don´t want it to eat like your wand, potions ingredients, and books. Pygmy puffs will even eat live insects, but they will not eat anything that is too much larger than themselves. Still keep your pygmy puff away from your other pets like cats and dogs because they might eat your pygmy puff, even if they don´t want to eat your pygmy puff, the pygmy puff could still be extremely frightened of your cat or dog.

Lastly, you need to remember to play with your pygmy puff. If you leave your pygmy puff alone too often they can get bored and lazy which could cause them to gain weight. pet them, carry it around and play with them outside. Encourage your friends and family to get pygmy puffs too, then your pets could play together.
