How to groom your pygmy puff

Chapter 1
To clean your pygmy puff you should dampen a rag, you don´t want to get it too wet though. Then use the rag and rub on the fur where it´s dirty to remove the dirt. Next use a clean part of the damp rag to get the rest of the fur a little wet so that you smooth it down. You need to clean your pygmy puff this way because if you try to give it a bath it will drown. Pygmy puffs have very small and short legs so they can not swim, if you tried to give it a bath and turned away for even just ten seconds, it could drown. So it would be best if you stick to a damp rag.

When you brush your pygmy puff, you should use a hard plastic or wooden comb that you would use only for your pygmy puff. Gently comb the fur in the direction it grows. This will remove dirt and tangles from the fur and smooth it down. But just because you can use a comb to remove dirt does not mean you should stop cleaning your pygmy puff, because if you do, your pygmy puff will get steadily dirtier because the brush will only get some of the dirt, it will still leave on some dirt and slowly that amount of dirt will get larger and larger.

If you do not want to use a wet rag or for some reason can not use a wet rag, you can also get a spray bottle and fill it with water then you can spray you pygmy puff (you only need to do so two or three times) and then brush them.

Also, if you want your pygmy puff to smell good as well as look good, I would suggest you use the spray bottle and mix in conditioner.
