Do you wonder where the food in the Great Hall comes from? It comes from the hard work of house-elves, who don't get pay or breaks. Why do we have house-elves make the food for us? We should at least pay them and give them breaks and vacations. Has anyone every asked a House-Elf if they liked being forced to do witches and wizards' bidding? Has anyone ever stopped to ask a House-Elf not to punish themselves? It's a very raw deal for House-Elves. If we continue to have House-Elves do stuff for us, we should pay them, give them vacations, and give them clothes.
