While we witches and wizards have been cruel, mean, and horrible to animals, and other creatures, such as actually dismembering live toads for Potions, and executing innocent Hippogriffs, there is improvement. The Ministry passed laws forbidding live toad use in Potions, and there is a Care of Magical Creatures Class. Also, MACUSA, the American Ministry of Magic, once outlawed all magical creatures. But then Newt Scamander changed that. You too, can enact change and help for animals, and our fellow magical creatures.
