Chapter 16. Innocent Creatures.

Chapter 16
There are several creatures that you probably consider dangerous, evil, or mean. But this is wrong. Here are several examples of misunderstood creatures.

Nagini.

Nagini used to be a beautiful, kind young woman. But she was a Maledictus, meaning she could turn into a snake at will, but eventually would turn permanently into a snake. However, she eventually seems to turn evil, and a loyal follower of Voldemort in snake form. I think that she is truly nice, but when Lord Voldemort made her into a Horcrux, it turned her evil.

Mrs. Norris.

Mrs. Norris is loyal to Argus Filch. Filch detests Hogwarts students because they are witches and wizards while he's a squib. Mrs. Norris commonly reports students to Filch. But is she really mean? She might only be loyal to Filch because he's the only one who was kind to her. Maybe next time you pass her in the corridors, give her a treat or pet her.

Consider these misunderstood creatures. Are they truly bad? As Sirius Black once said, 'We've all got both light and dark inside of us. What really matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we truly are."
