Even though the Wizarding community has abused and mistreated animals, there are some who have stuck up for them, and learned about them. They educated others about them, and cared for the creatures in their care. These fantastic Witches and Wizards include Newt Scamander, a Magizoologist, Rubeus Hagrid, Hogwarts Gamekeeper, Whilhelmina Grubbly-Plank, temporary Care of Magical Creatures Professor, Charlie Weasely, a dragon keeper, and Hermione Granger, House-Elf rights activist. All of these Witches and Wizards have contributed to animal rights, and treatment. There should be more Witches and Wizards like them.
