“How are your parents?” Asked the pretty redhead to the greasy-haired boy sitting next to her. Sometimes she asked quite personal questions, but the boy didn’t mind. “Fighting, as usual. I’m excited to get my Hogwarts letter. I hope I’ll be in Slytherin, the other houses are ghastly.” He said. “In my opinion.” He added as an afterthought, in case she was in a different house.
“It’s fine.” The redhead said, somehow detecting his embarrassment at the question he just asked. “In my house, we don’t do opinions. At least, my sister doesn’t. She’s quite upset with me being magical. She wrote a letter to Proffesor... umm... Dumodor?-” She not having been to Hogwarts yet, forgot the Headmaster’s name. “Dumbledore.” The boy said for the redhead. “Go on.” He said. The redhead cleared her throat. “So, she wrote a letter to Professor Dumbledore. A very polite one, mind you. She was upset she didn’t get into Hogwarts. Professor Dumbledore wrote a nice, polite letter back apologizing that she couldn’t go. So now, you see, she just acts like she hates the idea of magic.” The redhead sometimes ranted, or just plain talked a lot, not stopping for much. Again, the boy didn’t mind. “It’s dusk, I’d better go. Bye, Severus.” The girl said. “Bye, Lily.” He replied.
