Found Out
Chapter 20
"Malfoy!" Blaise called, walking towards him from the other side of the Slytherin common room. "Draco, we need to talk." Reluctantly, he followed Blaise to their dorm, wondering what the bloody heck Zabini found do urgent. "Malfoy." he said, crossing his arms. "Why have you been sneaking out every night to meet with mudblood Granger?"
Draco's jaw dropped a fraction. He looked shocked- absolutely shocked- that someone had found out about his- well, their- secret. .
"W-what." he stammered, grey eyes wide. "No." he said quickly, shaking his head.
Blaise smirked a smirk that could have Draco's himself. "Malfoy, I've seen how you stare at her. There's something going on- you can't deny it." He stared at Draco thoughtfully, a smile growing on his face. "You like her..." Blaise said, nodding slowly. "Wow." He faintly said, exhaling a breath. "This complicates things. And changes a lot." He stared at Malfoy who looked a mix of astonished and angry. "Pansy will hear about this!" he said in a high, screechy voice, mocking Draco's ever-famous line.
"Don't!" Draco insisted, eyes taking a cold gleam. "Don't you dare tell ANYONE."
"Okay!" Blaise replied, holding up his hands. "But..." he looked confused, staring into space for a moment, expression changing to one of skepticism. Blaise looked at Draco curiously. "Why Granger?" he asked. "There are plenty of other girls- like Daphne Greengrass or her sister, Astoria. There's Pansy, Tracy, and that's not even half of them. Why mudblood Granger, out of all of them?"
"Don't call her that." Draco said quickly, slightly clenching his fists.
"More evidence." Blaise said in a fake accent, pretending to write something down on an invisible notepad.
(Sorry for the short chapter!)
