Chapter 15
The next morning, Hermione woke up back in Ginny's dorm room. She and Draco had come back to the castle a few hours prior, making sure that no one noticed the two of them. She remembered the night fondly, smiling the slightest. Quickly, she changed and got ready for the school day, picking up a book after surprisingly succeeding to tame her hair.
"Good morning, Ginny!" she said as the Weasley woke up.
"Reading?" she mumbled, rubbing her eyes, getting out of bed and shuffling towards the bathroom. Hermione nodded, flipping the page and continuing to scan the text. Ginny emerged in her school robes, ready for the day, ten minutes later. She and Hermione greeted the other three girls and headed down the thin staircase to the common room. They ignored Lavender Brown who was talking with another dark- haired Gryffindor girl, and climbed out of the portrait hole, starting toward the Great Hall. When they arrived, Ginny and Hermione immediately ignored Lavender and Ron; Hermione honestly didn't know how much more of Lavender feeding the Weasley toast she could handle. She stalked to the other end of the table, and sat down across from Ginny. Harry came not too long after, sitting next to the redhead. Harry and Ginny continued a conversation after a short talk about Defense Against the Dark Arts, which would happen later that day. She just sat there, slowly nibbling away at her toast with strawberry jam. Again, it was accidental; but her eyes seemed to meet Draco's again. She quickly looked away, but not before she gave him a small smile.

Ginny glanced at Hermione; the brunette had quickly looked away from someone else's gaze. Someone from the Slytherin table.
"Harry, I have to talk to Mione." she said once their conversation had come across a suitable time for it to pause. He left, pecking Ginny on the cheek, looking at them curiously as he went over to talk to Seamus. Hermione looked at her, crossing her arms. "Why are you staring at Malfoy?" she said quietly, getting straight to the point.
"I- I am not!" Hermione insisted, looking away, face flushing the slightest.
"Yes you are." Ginny said, smirking. "You have Potions today, right? With the Slytherins?"
Hermione opened her mouth, but couldn't come up with anything to say. Ginny did have a point...this once. She just rolled her eyes, cheeks absolutely red. The Weasley didn't say anything else. She rested her arms on the table, smiling. "And so I rest my case."
Okay...Hermione had forgotten about Potions. Shocking, right? Hermione Jean Granger forgetting about a class...but her mind was focused on...other things. Such as a particular blonde. But yes, now that Ginny mentioned it, she did have Potions with the Slytherins; which meant that she had Potions with Draco Lucius Malfoy.
