Houses, they are the very bane of our School; but are we going a little over the top? Countless amounts of pieces have been published about how Houses should be labelled. Now, I can give you some UNTRUE facts. Lot's of them in fact... here we go;

1. Hufflepuff's are NOT dumb. I know plenty of Hufflepuffs! They are all unique in their own way, and not in a weird dumb way. In a perfectly whizz-tastic way! If you are a Hufflepuff, you should be proud! You are absolutely fabulous, and don't let anybody else tell you otherwise! Which leads us onto our next fact...

2. Just because you meet a Slytherin in the hall, doesn't mean you automatically need to 

A. Run Away.

B. Hex Them.

or C. Start making 'Smart' Comments.

I'm friends with a Slytherin or two, and I have to admit, only one or two, or three. No more than four though, because quite a few Slytherin's stick to their founders attitude. Which isn't very nice... at all. But Slytherin's can also be their own person, breaking free of house tradition. Maybe, if more Slytherin's acted like the ones I know, Slytherin could reinvent themselves!

3. Here is one that lots of people don't know: Not all Gryffindors are good, brilliant people. Okay, okay. Some great wizards have came from Gryffindor... but the other houses need recognition too! For example; Merlin was a Slytherin, Mr Ollivander, a Ravenclaw, and Newt Scamander a Hufflepuff! And Peter Pettigrew... a traitor, was Gryffindor. Point Proved.

4. Ravenclaw's are NOT the easiest to turn to Dark Arts if they were born to good parents. Yes, Ravenclaws have people like Quirrell, Lockhart and wimps like Myrtle but they also have people like Luna Scamander, Filius Flitwick and Cho Chang! In actual fact, Ravenclaws are really nice and NOT stuck up.

Notable Gryffindor's that weren't 'Gryffindor's'

Cormac McLaggen, Peter Pettigrew and Percy Weasley.

Notable  Ravenclaw's that weren't 'Ravenclaw's'

Moaning Myrtle, Gilderoy Lockhart and Luna Lovegood.

Notable Slytherin's that weren't 'Slytherin's' 

Horace Slughorn, Regulus Black and Ally Smith.
