-all magic began in one person: The first wizard, Uno Mas

-Uno Mas lived before cavemen and during reptiles
-Believed to have created the first wand

~The Migration Theory

-magical people didn't know they had magic
-Descent of Blizz (or Ice Age) came
-settlers founded many modern wizarding settlements
-In 1535, Ho Mao Tseng (Magical historian, explorer) followed false tracks
-in 1803 and 1832, Gringott's curse-breakers found evidence of migrators going to France
-This theory first claimed natural progression of magic

~The Theory of Hocus Pocus

-Magic came out of thin air
-first uses of magic instead of first whos of magic
-Natural Progression: nature has a tendency to force specific habits upon humans who react differently than a magical person would.

-Dr. Josiah Loppet strongly opposes the Uno Mas Theory, strong proponent of other 2 theories
