The Kneazle
Chapter 2
The Kneazle is not a magical creature too difficult to identify, though sporadically it is confused with ordinary Muggle cats. Mentally it is an intelligent creature, and possesses a tendency to naturally detect untrustworthy peoples of whom it deems suspicious. Independent and occasionally aggressive, it is known as XXX by the Ministry of Magic, though this classification varies if it is crossbred.
Miss Arabella Figg, a squib, was known to breed Kneazles, and thus that proves why she had and was so obsessed with feline.
Physically, Kneazles commonly have a long, spotted or flecked coat, with a fluffy, plumed tail, and, like cats, have different breeds, so appearances can vary. Kneazles make considerably good pets if they approve and like their witch/wizard owners.
