Chapter 1- What Is A Parseltongue?
Chapter 1
A Parseltongue (or Parselmouth) is the ability to speak to snakes) it's not a very common ability though. In Harry Potter, Parseltongue is first introduced in The Chapter of Secrets. Both Tom Riddle and Harry Potter can do it. In fact, Lord Voldemort has a pet snake named Nagini (who is also a Horcrux) many of the people who speak Parseltongue have pet snakes. Which makes sense.
