So as I said in the Introduction I would talk about some creatures, well this one just popped into my head. So, the Basilisk is introduced in the Chamber of Secrets. It can kill people with it's eye sight. But you have to look at it's eyes directly, that means that if you look at it's eyes through a puddle, ghost, or mirror. And yes those are something that happen in the Chamber of Secrets. It can also kill with it's fangs. The venom kills any human in a few minutes. But it can still be slayed.
