Chapter 1
So, our next awesomazing dragon is the Common Welsh Green (which I may or may not have one hidden in the common room....MINE! ).

The Common Welsh Green is one of the two breeds of dragons native to the British Isles, generally living in the high mountain regions of Wales. It's smooth scales, as the name implies, are of a green colour, and it can grow up to 18 feet long. The Welsh Green's roar is rather distinctive and somewhat melodious, and it issues its fire in narrow jets.

This breed of dragons is much calmer and less violent than the other dragons, except for the rare exception of the Ilfracombe Incident. It prefers to prey mainly on sheep and other small mammals and to avoid human contact altogether. The eggs of Welsh Greens are an earthy brown flecked with bright green, which makes them almost as distinctive as their cries, and makes illegal trade of the eggs much harder.

Fleur Delacour faced this breed of dragon for the First Task of the Triwizard Tournament in 1994. She enchanted the creature into a magical slumber to retrieve her golden egg.

In the so-called Ilfracombe Incident of 1932, a Common Welsh Green swooped down upon a crowded beach near lfracombe, Devon, England. Luckily, the witch Tilly Toke and her family were among the sunbathing Muggles. They were able to prevent any fatalities and perform a mass Memory Charm that made sure that the existence of dragons remained hidden from Muggles, as demanded by theStatute of Secrecy. All family members were awarded with the Order of Merlin, First Class. However, it seems that some Muggles escaped the charm. In Muggles Who Notice, Blenheim Stalk tells the story of Muggle Dodgy Dirk, who liked to talk of a 'dirty great flying lizard' that punctured his lilo" in bars along the south coast.

Welp, that's it for today, until next time!

Okay okay...say hello to my dragon, Ireland!
