American Wizards In Muggle Wars
Chapter 8
Wizards have been fighting in Muggle wars for centuries, though none more so than in America. Wizards in this country tend to have a greater sense of patriotism, and as such, they fight in America's wars. They stayed out of some conflicts, however, such as the French and Indian War, and the Mexican-American War, as they were friendly with the other side, and didn't want to harm alliances with other wizards. That is not to say, however, that all wizards wanted to stay out of them. No, wizards and witches in cities like Boston wanted to fight, and fight they did.
The Revolutionary War
American wizards, though colonial wizards at the time, formed their own small armies, and fought against the mighty British empire. Wizards fought on both sides of the conflict, both good and Dark wizards on both sides. General George Washington, a pure blooded wizard himself, commanded the entire force on America's side, and gave special missions to American wizards.
General Washington, during his crossing of the Delaware, brought only wizards with him, effectively fighting against the wizard Hessians on the British side.
