Be careful. Not all places in Hogsmeade are happy. The Shrieking Shack is home to ,surprisingly, one of the most nicest Harry Potter characters ever. That character is Remus Lupin, one of Hogwart's old Defense Aaginst The Dark Arts teacher. The shrieking shack seems pretty scary. But Remus Lupin, a really nice man who turns into a werewolf during a full moon, lives there! So, if you go into the shrieking shack, you might meet Professor Lupin. That may persuade you that The Shrieking Shack may not be that scary.
