Chapter 8
The first time i woke up , I heard my mom and dad sobbing . After talking to them a little , I fell asleep . The second time I woke up , I saw Lucas .
' Hi . Are you okay ? '' I nodded . '' Thank you . You saved my life '' I managed to say . My mouth was still painful . '' Yeah . I'm your saviour angel '' he said , then chuckled . I smiled faintly . '' What happened ? '' I asked . '' I came to your house to talk . You weren't answering . Then i heard you shout . I went to the shed to see you unconciouse , lying in a pool of blood . I immediately called the ambulance . And then.....'' he trailed off .'' So , there was no one beside me ? '' He shook his head . Where did she go ? And why did she go ? '' Hey , it's fine '' he said , seeing the look on my face . '' You're safe . And we'll figure out who did this . Don't worry '' . I smiled . His words made me feel a little relaxed , though i wasn't sure if i was safe .
