I woke up to the sound of my annoying alarm. Ugh. Why can't we just sleep all day?
After getting ready, I went down and had breakfast. It was pancakes , my favourite, but I couldn't enjoy it. My mind was flashing back to yesterday. I was thinking about everything when a question popped into my mind : is the house haunted?
That's a stupid thought Ivy. Ghosts can't knock you down and tie you to a tree. But they're ghosts. They're powerful. No, no, no. This house isn't haunted. I did a mistake by not saying about the incident to my parents. I'm in danger. Someone wants me dead. But who? And why? "You're really quite Ivy . What's wrong? " my mom asked. "Oh, it's nothing" . Yeah, nothing. Just the tiny fact that someone tried to kill me yesterday.
But why did they just leave me? It's a good thing for me, of course, but what did they earn? I sighed.
