Chapter 18
Dear Diary,
I’m really sorry. It has been so long since I wrote. It has been a month since I first wrote. Everything has been OK. The manor is really rude and arrogant. And extremely foolish. He didn’t realize that Zach was giving me his books. Zach is really nice. He’s really funny too.
Mom is still really sick. Dad is working as hard as ever. The manor doesn’t pay me a lot. He’s always talking about how terrible I am at working and how I should be grateful towards him for his ‘kindness’.
My birthday is coming soon, but I don’t think I’ll get any gifts. I doubt that mom and dad even remember. It’s not a big deal, I have never had any gifts. Mom usually makes a large breakfast and I get to go to my cousins’ house.
Sarah is nice, though Vivian is really mean. She’s always saying how ridiculous I am. I don’t care much, she’s just stupid. The manor is really cruel though. He’s so much more terrible than Vivian. I really want to slap him.
I have to go diary. I need to make breakfast for mom.
