Chapter 13
''AAHHHH!!!!'' I screamed and jumped out of the bed , clutching the curtains in front of the window . Right there , on the desk , was someone's head . I started to call my parents when someone grabbed me from behind , pulling me out of my room , and falling down on the grass .
''Carol ! Come over here!'' . I ran over to the manor . ''Yes , Mr , Richardson ?'' I asked politely . Why did he call me ? I haven't done anything . ''My son wants you to work for him . You have to be grateful for such a chance . Everyday you have to work from 6 am to 10 pm , starting from tomorrow'' he said and left . Oh no . If I leave , who will help my Granparents . They can't manage everything on their own . But I can't say no to the manor either . What should I do ?
I slowly opened my eyes . ''Doctor , she's awake'' I heard someone call out . I was in a hospital . Again .What had happened ? I grabbed someone's head , I fell out of the window , and then the manor called me to work for him . No wait , the manor called Carol to work for him . But who is Carol ?
