Chapter 1
'' Ivy , honey , wake up ! We're here ! '' . Sighing , i woke up . Where were we ? . I took of my glasses and put my brunette hair in a ponytail . I looked out of the window . We were outside a house . Our house , I sighed . God , i'm sighing a lot nowadays . I took my bag that had my necessities : my phone , food , my headphones and my books . The house looked good . I would've been happy to be here , if not for the fact that i have to stay here for the rest of my life .
Now , you must be wondering who this girl is and what she's talking about : I'm Ivy Williams . I was born and raised in London . After fifteen years of living there , my parents decided to move to New York . I love NY , don't get me wrong , I just didn't want to spend the rest of my life here . For example , both Hogwarts and Ilvermony are great magical schools . Imagine , that you are Harry , and you are suddenly told that you have to leave Hogwarts and join Ilvermony . That's what it felt like when i was told to leave London and move to NY .
The house was pretty nice , and much bigger than our old house . My room was cool too . I hanged my bag and jumped into the bed . I removed the rubber band from my hair and placed it on the table beside me . I closed my eyes , hoping to fall asleep. I just couldn't . Sitting up straight , i pulled out my favourite book : Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets .
'' Come down Ivy . Dinner's ready '' . I didn't answer . After finishing my book , i texted my friends , watched youtube , and listened to music . There was a knock on the door . '' I'm coming ! '' . I shrugged and ran down the stairs . '' I'm here '' . Wait , where were they ? No one was sitting at the table . I checked the kitchen . Nope . '' Ivy , what are you doing ? We heard you shout '' . I turned to see her mom and dad . '' Mom , aren't we having dinner ? '' . They were the ones who called me down . I felt angry . Was this some sort of prank ? '' Dinner ? Ivy , do you know what time it is ? '' I checked the clock : 1-03 am . I gasped . If it wasn't mom , then who called me ?
