I know what you’re thinking. I’m a cat, a cute, fluffy, innocent cat. What am I doing in a human jail, in a human cell, surrounded by humans? Well here’s the story, but I’m warning you, it’s a long one….. It all started on an ordinary day in my home town, Kilmore. That’s when I come in, a cute, fluffy, ginger cat that smelled like fish (and to be truthful, I still do). I was in my owners house, he is an evil scientist, so it’s more of an underground lab, it’s big and spacious with the smell of chemicals from my masters experiments. If you breath in deeply, you can taste something musty. Today the house was really hot, yesterday it was really cold. I think it has something to do with my masters experiments. Well anyway, he called my name, or at least my old name, ‘Cheeto’ now they call me ‘The Laser Cat, but I’ll tell you why later. So anyway, he called me to get rid of a mouse in his lab, while he went to go get an ingredient for his latest invention. That’s when I had The Accident! While I was chasing the mouse I knocked over a pot of spaghetti. The mouse ran back into his hole and I was starving after my chase. I though it was just a normal pot of pasta, so I ate some. But that’s when everything changed…. Suddenly, I had an urge to kill and destroy. I wanted to kill my master and make the whole world my slave. When my master came home, I started scratching him. As soon as I bit him he dropped to the floor, dead! That was when I discovered that I had the power to kill a human with one bite. I ran outside. This was the firs time I was out of the lab and in the town! It smelled like car fuel, it was loud, and I could hear all of the cars motors humming. I could taste the McDonalds as I walked past. The footpath was rough against my paws. An old lady kicked me so I bit her, and she dropped to the floor within seconds. My vision turned red, and my eyes grew hot. Suddenly a Laser flew from my eyes. I cut the town hall clean in half. Millions of people screamed. Then the police came. The whole entire force. I bit as many as I could. I crashed down buildings on top of them, but there were just too many! They shot at me. Then one of them screamed, ‘We’re taking you in!’ But I wouldn’t give up, I couldn’t give up! These humans had held us felines captive for too long. They used us to get rid of pests like rodents. They made us their slaves! If I gave up who would bring cat kind the victory of ruling the world. Give the cats and kittens the chance to live the luxurious life the humans do. No if I gave up, I wouldn’t just be giving up on me and what I wanted, I would be giving up on the whole of cat kind and what we deserved! With this new fuel, this new reason, I started to win! The police retreated and I picked up where I left off, starting, once agin, pushing down buildings, biting people young, old and in between, so that they would die. My evilest deed of all, I don’t know if I should tell you, here goes, I stole candy from babies! But soon the police came back, with bite proof armour, and indestructible cars. No matter how hard I tried, I could not kill them. After three days of fighting they caught me, by putting a net on the ground. I was so utterly exhausted that I didn’t bother to check where I was going. And thanks to that fatal mistake that is the last thing I can remember. But now I’m going to escape, and you’re going to help me… THE END!
