Nothing is known about Sonic’s early life. It’s completely ambiguous who his family is or if he has one, how he gained his speed, if he was born with it, or if Sonic is even his real name. All that is known is he was born on Christmas Island and his only possessions are the gloves on his hands and the shoes on his feet.

Sonic’s personality is a juxtaposition of sympathy and ferocity; while he does all in his power to snuff out evil, he also can’t look away when someone else is in trouble. He could also be described as the embodiment of freedom: he does what he wants, when he wants, hates restraint, has an easygoing perspective on life, and is extremely impatient. Due to his tendency to win fights, Sonic acts rather egotistical when faced by Dr. Eggman, anyone who doubts him, or any kind of challenge, becoming extremely irritable whenever pushed out of it. Like the wind, Sonic is always on the move, living a life of excitement and adventure.

In Sonic Adventure he wears anti-gravity boots that let him hover, and has been in four cartoons: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (AoStH) with Tails, in satAM, in Sonic Underground with brother and sister Manic and Sonia, and in Sonic: The Movie with Tails and Knuckles (also known as Sonic: The Anime)

Sonic's a very short tempered hedgehog but has a lot of patience for Chris and is always there for him and the others, Sonic's best friend would be Tails and they're together always on some crazy adventure. Sonic The Hedgehog is the main character of Sonic Series. Together with Tails and Knuckles (Best Friends) he is the protagonist and main defender of humanity against all evil. Sonic’s main skills are various, such as Supersonic Running Speed, Chaos Control and Super Transformation (Super Sonic). Sonic’s likes are: Running, Adventure, Freedom, Chilli Dogs (Hot Dogs) and Dislikes: Being Followed by Amy, His Half-Brother Shadow, Anyone who poses a threat to him and of course, Dr. Eggman.
