Holly grabs Chase's hand and they walked to the mall. They took the elevator to the third floor and walk across the marble floor. They arrived at an ice cream parlor. Chase led Holly over to a table in front of the store. They sat down and then a waitress hurry over. "Can I take your order?" Chase nodded. "Can I get a raspberry pecan bowl with sprinkles?" The waitress quickly wrote it down and turn to Holly. "And you, Miss?" Holly smiled. "A hot fudge mint chocolate bowl with coconut shavings. Thank you." The waitress wrote it down and hurry away.

Chase smiles at Holly. "So, do you have any plans for the day?" "Nah, not really. You?" "Nope. We have the day off with each other." Holly laughs. "Is this a date or something?" "A date." Holly wasn't expecting this answer and lean back. Chase smiles. "Is that OK?" "That's fine. I was just surprised.'

All of a sudden, Chase's eyes narrowed and look behind her. Holly turn around and saw a bunch of girls holding shopping bags and laughing. She recognize the most popular girl in school with her squad. She turns back to Chase who grab her face in his hands. "Quick, Holly, pretend we're kissing!" He didn't wait for her response and moved his face forward. His face stop just a inch away from hers and smiled.

The girls passed them and Alice, the leader looked over at them and glares at Holly. They hurry away, whispering and glaring at them. When they had moved away, Chase moved back. Holly blushes. "What was that for though?"she asked. Chase answered,"Alice always had a crush on me and she's been trying to get my attention for weeks. It's really annoying. I don't even like her." He paused and look at Holly, then added, "I like another girl."
