Chapter 1
(Person 1): Holly walked along the sidewalk. She spotted a cute cafe with small tables and chairs and hanging umbrellas in front. She also saw a tall boy leaning against the wall of the cafe, hair swept messily to the side, head dipped down, looking at his phone, and dressed in a white shirt, black jeans, and a light gray jacket. A pair of headphones hung around his neck. Reyna walked toward him. But before she had even taken more than a few steps, someone tapped her on the back, startling her.
(Person 2): Jenny grinned as Holly turned around. "Hey, Holly! Checking out Chase? He's cute, isn't he?" She poked Holly's shoulder.
(Person 1): Holly relaxed. "Jeez, Jen! You scared the heck outta me. And yeah, he's pretty nice-looking. You know him?"
(Person 2): Jen laughs. "Course I do. He's in my chemistry class and a lot of girls like him. But I know for a fact he isn't interested in any of them."
(Person 1): "Reallyyy. How do you know?"
(Person 2): "He never bothers looking at them. But he might look at you. Who knows?! Give it a chance!"
(Person 1): "But, do YOU like him?"
(Person 2): "Nope, not interested, not my type. But he sure is your type." Jen nudges Holly's arm and grins. Then she pushes Holly toward Chase. She calls,"Hey, Chase! I have a friend to meet you! This is Holly. Holly, this is Chase. Well, I'll leave you two to chat for now, 'k? I'll be back later. Maybe we can all go for lunch together! That is, if Chase doesn't have any plans for the afternoon!" With that, Jen walks away, looking over her shoulder.
(Person 1): Holly glares behind her shoulder at Jen as she left. Jen gave her a wink, and hurried away. Holly turns back to Chase and blushes. "Hi, Chase. Sorry for that. Jen can be really annoying sometimes. Well, I'll just leave you now, alright? Have a nice day!" Holly tries to hurry away, but Chase grabs her arm. She swerve back around and look down at his arm around hers. "Sorry,"he says, letting go, "But you seem nice." Holly turns pink. "You caught my eye today for some reason. Normally, I don't really look at girls. But I can tell you're something special. Right?" Holly whispers, "Maybe?" Chase laughs. "Sooo, wanna hang out?" Holly smiles. "Sure!"
