WE REGRET NOTHING. Of course sometimes when we're trying, we obviously would break a few rules along the way. Even if you're a goody-two-shoes, or, Hermione Granger(we love you, 'Mione!!!!), you've always broke one or two rules. And of course, say, "better to ask forgiveness than permission......" while doing it. Cause Gryffindors are just like that and it's a good thing too!!!! :) We never compromise to our morals, just that authority is a bit *relative* to us. Or, in other words, you answer to your own morals rather then someone else's.
