Chapter 1
I roll out of my four poster bed, onto the floor. Susannah just woke me up, telling me it was my time to patrol the corridors. I put on my skirt and cardigan, and walk out of the common room. I had to patrol the area by Charms class, so that meant the Library (yay!) , charms room, restricted section, the corridors by that area, and the stairs by that area, it doesn't sound like much, but it is. I walk to the charms room, starting there. I lay a hand on the wall besides the door. The wall opens up and I almost fall in. "Whoa!" I exclaim. Curiosity takes over and I walk in. "Lumos." I mutter, and the room is filled with light. It's a library. "Oh..my..god." I say. I sprint back to the common room, and stop at the door, prepared for the riddle. "What is one thing that can never be broken?" I think for a moment. "A promise!" I exclaim, and the door opens. I rush in and shake Susannah awake. "What, Clove?" She asks, half asleep. "I need you to cover for me. Say I got sick. Do my patrol. Please. It's really important." I say, begging. You might not think a library is that important, but it is for me. "Finee." Susannah says. "Thanks." Is all I say and rush back to the hidden library. "This. Is. Amazing." I say. I rush to the nearest shelf, looking through all the books. The first one I grab though, a page is missing. "Where's page 394?" I ask, knowing I won't get an answer. "Weird." I mutter, and grab another book. This one was missing page 394 too. "Ok..this is getting creepy." I say. I look at another book. 394 is missing. "Bloody hell." I mutter. I walk further into the library, soon finding an ancient reading corner. "Hm." I plop down onto the chair. I'm surprised about how comfortable this is. I see a small corner of parchment stuck in the crack of the chair. I pull it out. Page 394 is written on it in clear letters at the bottom. "What the.." I say. I get up off of the couch, walking further into the hidden library. I look at another book. No page 394. "Is this a coincidence..?" I ask nobody in particular. I glance at the piece of parchment in my hand, which looks like the same parchment in this book, then glance to page 393. "And after I left, I found a small vial of a potion in my room, labeled.." I trail off, as the page ended. I look to the page 394 in my hand. "Love potion, do not touch. I picked up the vial I found in my room." I stopped. That was all the proof I needed. These two pages go together.
