Angelica was a twelve year old girl about to turn thirteen. She had short brown hair and green eyes. It was Wednesday and Angelica had her hair pulled into two high pigtails and her backpack hanging over her left shoulder. She walked into the girls locker room and changed into her soccer outfit. It was a dark blue shirt that read " East High Sturgeons Soccer Team" and white shorts that went to her knees, she put on her stained green soccer cleats. " Gosh I need new shoes!" she said then looked over " Hey Teddy?" Angelica asked the girl next to her
" Yeah? What do you need?" Teddy replied
" Oh just wanted to say I like hair today!" She said
Teddy had dyed her hair grey, it was pulled up into a messy bun and a few strans in the front
" Oh thanks!" Teddy said smiling " Hey practice is about to start!"
" Okay be right there!" Angelica said she pulled out her i-pod and checked her messages. her mom had sent her a message saying she would be a little late and then she got a text by her best friend Lexi it read " Did you see the new boy on your team?! He's so hot!"
Angelica laughed and replied " About too... and what about Henry is he not hot?" Angelica went to the field. It was easy to identify the boy he had black hair and dark brown eyes, Angelica smiled as she stood next to her older sister Abby. Her sister didn't pay much attention to boys, she stood straight with good posture and had a slim smile on her face. Angelica did the same standing up straight and smiled. there coach passed out soccer balls and blew his whistle causing everyone to place there balls on the floor putting there foot on top so the ball couldn't roll away. Angelica looked over to the that the boy was looking at her but looked away when she looked up. " Everyone! Today were learning how to do a new technique called movement," Coach Morris said " line up with a partner can be girl, girl, boy, boy , or girl, boy I don't care. Then the person in the front throw your ball behind you and have your partner kick it," Angelica looked around to find a partner when the boy tapped her shoulder " Hey partners?" Angelica turned around and smiled " Sure, I'm Angelica King," She said putting her hand out
" Sammy Bush," The boy said grabbing her hand and shaking it. " Well do you wan't to be in the front or back?" Angelica asked
" Um back!" Sammy said and smiled then walked behind her " Okay ready!"
Angelica threw the ball and Sammy kicked over head. quickly after Coach Morris walked up to them " Great job pip squeeks! You two have nailed it on your fist try great job! go take five and I tell everyone what were doing next,"
Angelica and Sammy sat down on a bench and sat there for about a minute doing nothing. Sammy fiddled his thumbs and bit the inside of his cheek.
