- deducing chemical makeup of astrological bodies
astrology: study of how the happenings in outer space magically influence happenings of people on Earth (NOT to be confused with astronomy)
observational astronomy: finding objects in space
theoretical astronomy: applying Muggle technology and Muggle astronomy concepts in order to answer questions about the universe
