"Well, we should chose a compartment then, eh?" I said to Felix.
"Yeah, sure," he replied. I noticed he looked a bit anxious.
"Nervous?" I asked him.
"Well, a bit."
We went along the train, and looked in each compartment to see if some of them were empty. But most of them were full, students chattering happily. We were then sure all of them were full, when we finally saw a compartment with only two students in it.
"Come on, let's go in there," I said to Felix.
He nodded, and I poked my head into the compartment, and said to them, "Is it all right if we share this compartment with you?"
A girl with short brown straight hair nodded and smiled. "Sure."
Me and Felix dragged our stuff into there compartment, and I said, "Thank you."
The other student had long blonde hair, and glanced at her friend. I pretended to be fumbling with my bag, while Felix was trying to pull something out of his own bag. I heard the blond haired girl whispering. "Maggie, why did you let them come in here? And a boy?"
"Oh, shut up, Mya," said Maggie.
I glanced at them, and saw Mya looking disgruntled, and Maggie saw me looking, and said, "My name's Maggie. Yours?"
"Um, Anna," I replied. "And this is my brother, Felix."
"Cool," Maggie smiled at me. "This is my friend, Mya."
I knew Mya had forced a smile onto her face.
"This is your first year, right?" I asked them.
Maggie nodded again. "Yeah. I always wonder what house I'll be in. Hopefully not Slytherin."
"Yeah. Agree entirely!" I said, nodding my head frantically. I glanced round at Felix, who was looking at his shoes.
"Come on, Felix, say something," I said out of the corner of my mouth.
"Er, um - hi," he said, barely above a whisper.
Maggie grinned at him. "I know, you're nervous about everything, eh? So am I a bit." She smiled again.
Felix looked up at her, and smiled.
"Oh, and we should get into our robes now," said Maggie. We all did, and after about a few minutes, the train tooted.
"We're here," I said, excited.
"I know!" said Maggie, also laughing nervously.
We climbed out of our compartment, and all the other students were shuffling out of theirs to get of the train.
The four of us finally jumped off the train, and a voice said, "Firs' years over here, please! Firs' years!"
"Yeah, sure," he replied. I noticed he looked a bit anxious.
