~Spell Creation
-Ea. spell we use comes from somewhere
-Many spell inventors we haven't talked about
-1st step - to figure out how to make it happen! This is the easy part
-Start with incantation; Latin is easiest root language

-Attempting to practice these theoretical spells can be deadly if not approved
~Today's Spells
-We're going to learn 2 new charms
-Both created by magical theorist Arameus Szareko
-many practical applications
-1st spell: the Warming Charm
-Provides gentle warming sensation going outward from wand tip in a cone shape
-Concentrate on target and the feeling of hot air
-distance determines size of cone
-More willpower=warmer temps, though spell won't ever harm anyone
-Dynamic spell
-Spell block:
Spell: The Warming Charm
Incantation: Focillo (foh-SILL-oh)
Wand Movement: Slow clockwise circles that continue while you concentrate.
Willpower: Moderate
Concentration: Moderate; concentration should be maintained on the target and warmth.
-2nd spell: the Chilling Charm
-opposite of Warming Charm
-concentrate on target and the feeling of cold air
-More willpower=colder temps
-Dynamic
-Spell block:
Spell: The Chilling Charm
Incantation: Infrigido (in-FRIG-ee-doh)
Wand Movement: Slow counter-clockwise circles that continue while you concentrate.
Willpower: Moderate
Concentration: Moderate; concentration should be maintained on the target and cold.
-Practice concentration! Try to get it to last 5 minutes
-Practice on bowls of liquid
-Properly casting Warming Charm on potion will turn it bright green
-Properly casting Chilling Charm on potion will turn it deep purple
