The Beginning

November, 11, 2011 “ Ava?” Zachary asked . Zachary had black hair and brown eyes...his character in the game is a Beast Master Winter Eladrin.

“ What?” Ava asked. Ava had brown hair that reflected light and made it look like she was shining, she also had green eyes...her character in the game is an assassin.

“ Go get...Eleanor, Rowan, and Lucas,” Zachary said. Holding a clipboard.

“ Fine,” Ava said. leaving the classroom.

“ Okay let’s start!” Zachary asked.

“ Um who’s the DM,” Eleanor asked. Eleanor had dark brown hair and hazel eyes...her character in the game is a Ranger Wood Elf .

“ Oh um me?” He said,

“ No!” Lucas said. Lucas had light brown hair and yellow eyes that looked like they glowed in the dark ...his character in the game is a half dragon born.

“ Why not,” Zachary said and they both start to argue. All of a sudden the room shook and a loud voice came from above.

“ I’m your new DM,” said the voice.

“ Um guys were we?” Rowan said. looking around. Rowan has brown hair and hazel eyes that changed to dark brown in the winter. His character in the game is a human. The scene changed from a class room to a small town.

“ You are in the small town of Cutanna,” The DM said.

“ Okay?” Ava said.

“ You each have two hundred gold coins. I suggest you use them wisely” the DM said.

“ Wait what?” Eleanor asked. But it was silent. Everyone split up. Zachary went into a small shop and bought a new set of armor which cost fifty-seven gold pieces. Ava went into a weapon shop and bought a new bow and ten poisonous arrows which cost thirty-four gold pieces.

Eleanor bought sixty pounds of food which cost twenty gold pieces. Rowan bought a new shield which cost twenty-two gold pieces. Lucas bought two healing potions with twenty-seven gold pieces. They met up at an old fountain.

“ What is our story?” Rowan asked.

“ Glad you asked. Each of you have committed small crimes all around the same time so you have been sent on a quest to save the duke’s son.” said the DM

“ Okay,” Ava said.

“ Um is she okay,” Lucas mubbled.

“ Well go...get started, but remember...don’t be stupid,” The DM said.

“ Great! I thought he'd tell us something useful,” Zachay said.

“ Me too,” Eleanor said.

“ Well let’s go,” Rowan said. They wandered into a dense and dark forest,they walked and came to a fork in the road.

“ Which way?” Lucas asked.

“ Well I’ll go scout on the left trail,” Eleanor said.

“And I’ll go right,” Ava said.

Eleanor tripped over a stick but found nothing. And Ava found tracks. So Rowan goes and investigates the trail a little more and on the left trial he finds some dried blood on a bush.

“ Again Which way?” Lucas asked
“ Um Right!” Everyone said. They wandered into the dark some more till an arrow flew past Lucas missing him by a half of an inch. Everyone stood in their place. Ava moved forwards and saw nothing… another arrow flew out of the bushes. Rowan grabbed his bow off his back but right as he shot the wind shot an arrow into the sky and killed a mutated pigeon.


“ Great,” Rowan said. Just the two goblins jumped out and shot another arrow. Lucas grabbed his axe and chopped one of the goblins in half. Then Ava shot a poisonous arrow right into the seconds goblins forehead.

“ Is it dead?” Eleanor asked.

“ I think so,” Rowan said.

“ Wait!” there's more!” Eleanor said..five more goblins ran out from the dark woods. They formed a circle each holding a weapon. Zachary stabbed two goblins at the same time, and Eleanor grabbed her bow and shot a goblin through the heart.

“ Good shot!” Lucas said.

“ Thanks!” Eleanor said.

“ of course,” Lucas said.

“ Stop yabbying there's still two more,” Zachary said.

“ okay?!” Lucas said.Rowan ran up there and jumped on the goblin to his right and slit its throat. Next Ava snuck up and cracked its neck.

“Well that was fast,” Zachary said.

“For sure,” Eleanor said.They walked for three miles then ran into a tough decision.

“Well do we continue on the path or go off trail” Rowan asked.

“Well there are some wild boar tracks this way!” Eleanor said.

“ So?” Which way?” Lucas asked

“ Boar tracks!” Everyone said.

“ Well okay,” Lucas said. They got in line Rowan in front with Ava and Eleanor in the middle of Lucas and Zachary in the very back.

“ You know that in every movie the person in the back always dies!” Ava said.

“ Yeah but I’ll take that risk,” Zachary said. Next thing Zachary Knew there was a sharp pain in his thigh. It was the boar...it’s sharp tusks digging into his soft tissue, bringing him to low health, making him fall to the ground almost killing him.

Eleanor jumped and ran off into the woods. Finding a pile of corpses.

~Back with everyone else~

Rowan stabbed the Boar in the forehead and Ava shot and arrow through its leg and Lucas cut’s head off.

“ Guys You should see this!” Eleanor yelled.

“ Coming!” Everyone said, Rowan healed Zachary. And then Zachary, Rowan, and Lucas searched the dead bodies. Zachary found four hundred gold pieces, and Rowan found a Gem and a shield, Lucas found a set of jacks, playing cards, and dice made from bone.
“ Can I climb the pile?” Eleanor asked.

“ No!” They replied.

“ Fine you can climb the pile but only if I go first ,” Rowan said.

“ If you fall and die I’m leaving you there,” Eleanor mumbled.

Rowan makes it halfway up the pile but falls and impales himself with an old rustic sword.

“Hahaha!” said Eleanor.

“ Shut up and help me!” Rowan Yelled.

“ Okay! Okay,” Lucas said. “ He’s cranky,”

Lucas healed him. Then Ava made it up the hill without falling. She

saw a tunnel going deeper into the ground, she called everyone up there.

“ Cool!” Rowan said partly amazed/upset.

“ Yeah! Very cool,” Zachary said.

Out of nowhere Rowan grabs his shield and slid into the tunnel without any light.

“ Ouch!” Eleanor said. watching Rowan. Rowan slammed into a stone wall. The rest of the group made their way down each holding a torch.

“ Help!” Rowan yelled

“ Wow... you hurt yourself again in less than five minutes, I think it’s a new record,” Eleanor said.

“ Shut up!” Rowan yelled at her.

“ Sheesh!” Ava said.

“ Not you too!’ Rowan said.

“ I really want to push him into that cavern,” Eleanor said. looking to her right

“ Me too,” Ava said.

Everyone giggled. After they helped Rowan, they walked deeper into the cave next thing they knew five skeletons rose from the ground each holding a weapon. Two holding bows and two other holding spears and the last one arose with a gigantic battle axe.

“ Well our luck is sure great!” Rowan said.

“ Just promise me one thing!” Ava said.

“ What?” Rowan asked

“ Don’t get killed,” Ava asked

“ I can’t promise anything!” Rowan said.

“ Oh..well not our problem,!” Eleanor said.

“ Okay...Okay!” Zachary said. Then Ava shot an arrow knocking one of the skeleton’s weapons out of its hand.

“ This is going to be harder than I thought,” Ava said. lowering her bow.

“ Yeah ,” Lucas said. Rowan then jumped on the skeleton that was disarmed and popped it’s head off. The rest of the skeleton turned into ash.

“ I recommend you guys aim for the heads,” Zachary said almost falling to the ground. After Ava pushed past him.

“ Okay,” Lucas said. Zachary decided to pull both of his short swords out and decapitated two of the skeletons at the same time. But it only delayed them by a little.

“Gosh!” Lucas whispered. Ava decided to go for the boss because she was close to him. She chopped about three of its fingers off.

“Great job, Ava,” She said. Lucas tried to kill one of the smaller skeletons by stabbing right the ribcage, except it went horribly wrong and Lucas was impaled by a sharp spear stabbing him in the chest.

“ Ouch!” Lucas screamed. Eleanor ran over and cast her “detect poison” spell finding out that he was poisoned with Beaked Sea Snake venom.

Lucas, was soon unconscious and dying quickly. Zachary pulled out his iron pot and started to beat the third to last skeleton. The Skeleton then proceeded to throw Zachary off its arm.

“ Ouch!” Zachary said. He had landed on an old animal bone, luckily it only gave him a bad cut on his forearm. Ava then pulled her knife out and threw it at the biggest skeleton. The skeleton fell to the floor and scattered across the floor.

“Ugh boys! Stop hurting yourself,” Eleanor said, she was on her floor tending to
Lucas.

“ Diddo,” Ava said. Rowan lifted Zachary over his shoulder.

“ Get me down!” Zachary said kicking Rowan in the back.
“ Okay but only because you're kicking me in the back!” Rowan said, holding his back. They paired up and finished the last two by cutting their legs off and arms off then just left them there. They walked into the next room and they found this horrible massacre of what was once goblins and a figure pillaging the corpses.

The figure turns around to see the party and says: “Hey, you guys look like you could use some help.”

They all looked at each other wided eyed then had a silent conversation and said : “SURE!”

“The name’s Lyu.” says the figure.

Everyone greets her and they continue down the hall together to find the exit, where they are properly able to see what Lyu looks like. She is a sea elf who looks like the elf equivalent of a spider, her skin is tinted slightly blue and she has deep gills in her neck. There is a spider crawling in her golden, blond hair.

“Ummm... Lyu do you know how to heal a beaked sea snake bite?” Eleanor asked

“ No but I have a friend that might!” Lyu said. They walked over to a tall tree about fifty to fifty-five feet tall.

“ Well up we go!’’ Lyu said

“ Really?” Rowan asked

“ Yup,” Lyu said

“ Great!” Eleanor said 1⁄3 of the way up the tree.

“ Everyone meets Amethyst,” Lyu said. Amethyst had brown curly hair and dark brown eyes.

“ Amrith?’ Eleanor asked

“ No! It’s Amethyst, like the jem,” Amethyst said

“ Oh okay A-m-e-t-h-y-s-t,” Eleanor said

“ Okay, Amethyst they have a friend who was poisoned by-” Lyu said

“ Let me guess he’s a light grey and his eyes are bloodshot so...beaked sea snake?,” Amethyst said.

“ Yeah!,” Zachary said

“ Great guess,” Rowan said.
Amethyst grabbed two bottles, one made of bone, and the other made of an old pumpkin. She went over to Lucas who was laying on the ground. She shoved the bottle made of bone into his mouth and poured the pumpkin bottle into a bowl and mixed thyme and rosemary then poured the mixture into Lucas’s mouth. The color from his face was soon completely gone.

“ Are you sure he’s going to be okay?” Eleanor asked

“ Yes!,” Amethyst said “ At least I think so.” She mumbled.

“ What was that?” Lyu asked.

“ Nothing!” Amethyst said.
They talked about their quest and about how they are not actually in the game and that there are real people.

“ Really...us too,” Lyu said

“ No way!” They all said.

“ Yeah!” Amethyst said

“What was your mission?” Rowan asked

“ Oh something about the plague and how it’s spreading, and that I have to stop it from reaching the village of Cutanna...I was with four other people but... they didn’t make it,” Lyu said

“ My mission was there was this wizard that went bad and started killing people so I was supposed to stop him I found some girl on my way but she disappeared...then I met Lyu and we both gave up on our missions,” Amethyst said
“ Cool...do you want to join us on our mission?” Eleanor asked

“ Maybe, you could also stay with us,” Amethyst asked

“ Maybe?” Zachary said he was looking at Lyu who was eating some sort of root.

“ Well I don’t know my parents would miss me,” Lucas said. Everyone turned, Lucas was sitting up.

“ What?” Zachary asked. Looking at Lucas, then Lucas fell to the floor lying limp.

“ Um Amethyst-

“ He’s fine!,” Amethyst said.

“ Okay!’ Eleanor said. They slept taking turns guarding the tree in pairs . First guard was Zachary and Eleanor.

“ How’s your day?” Zachary asked

“ Um what do you mean? Like D&D days of real life days?”

“ Real life days,” Zachary said

“ Well I have one “D” and three “As” but it’s all good with friends and family...it’s weird I would have never talked to you on a normal school day so I’m glad we're in this position ,” Eleanor said

“Really?” Zachary said.

“ How are you doing?” Eleanor asked Zachary.

“ Well I’m Acing every class and I've been meaning to talk to you ever Since, you sang that song for the talent show, ” Zachary said

“ Cool great I um well-
Just then an arrow shot Eleanor in the arm. Zachary sat there then quickly, helped Eleanor up. The arrow was one foot long and the point was about three inches long and two inches were digging into Eleanor's arm.
“ Ow,”

Eleanor was now screaming in pain crying.
“ Are you okay?” Zachary asked

“ What do you think,” She said in between tears

“ Oh my you two are in trouble,” DM said

“ Your back?” Zachary asked pulling out his shield,”

“Yes I am-
The voice disappeared, and a girl with red hair and blue eyes walked out of the woods holding a longbow.

“ Oh sorry I meant to shoot a deer,” The girl said

“ And you are?” Zachary asked

“ Kasie!” She said holding her unpreoccupied hand out.

“ Okay Kasie?” Zachary said shaking her hand

“ I’ll help with your friend,” Kasie said walking over to Eleanor she grabbed her arm and slowly pulled the arrow out. Then put a bandage over the wound.

“ Thanks Kasie, I’m Eleanor,” Eleanor said

“ Your welcome,” She said. They called everyone down.

“Everyone meet-

“Kasie?” Lyu and Amethyst said

“ Hi old friends!” Kasie said.

“ You two know each other?” Rowan asked

“ Ya!” Lyu and Amethyst said.

“ Well Lyu and met on our mission and I met Amethyst maybe two weeks later,” Kasie said

“ Wow,” Ava said.

“ Yeah,” Rowan said. After they all got some rest they ate some berries and rabbit.

“ SLUURP!” Zachary said

“ Yeah, thanks Kasie!” Eleanor said looking at Zachary with her “you're disgusting” Face

“Well We’ve got to get going,” Ava said

“ Ya,” Rowan said

“Well first let’s go get Lucas,” Eleanor said Climbing back up the tree. After Eleanor got Lucas…

“ Kasie, Amethyst, and I talked...we were wondering can we come with you?” Lyu asked

“ Heck ya,” They all said without hesitation.

“Great Well we’ll go chang,” they all said

Zachar was wearing a red flannel and worn out jeans running shoes and a hat, Rowan wearing a T-shirt and jeans and running shoes ,Lucas was wearing a plaid T-shirt jeans and running shoes, Ava was wearing a long sleeve shirt and a jean jacket, jeans and rain boots, Eleanor was wearing a plain T-shirt a puffy jacket, jeans and combat boots, Lyu was wearing a T-shirt jacket and running shoes, And Kasie was wearing a T-shirt, shorts, Long socks and running shoes.

“ Let’s go!” Kasie said

“ Yeah let’s go,” Lucas said

They walked fifteen miles into a grassy field, it had a pond and trees everywhere.

“ It’s so pretty here,” Eleanor said panting

“ Wow...It’s gorgeous here,” Ava said taking the last sip of water “ We should set up camp here, so we can refill,”

“Yeah,” Rowan

“ Well now what?” Eleanor asked

“ I don’t know?” Zachary replied.
The field was cut off by this huge ravine, it looked to be 75 feet across and 235 feet down and who knows how long. They split up into two groups. The first group was: Zachary, Lyu, Rowan, and Lucas. So the second group was: Eleanor, Ava, Kasie, and Amethyst.
The first group went and walked on the edge of the revin. The other group was setting up camp. Eleanor added her alarm spell and Kasie hunted down two deer and four rabbits. Amethyst ran to the nearest pond and Ava set up two shed sized tents and made a fire.
Meanwhile the other group stood at the edge of the ravine, they looked down in silence.
“...How will we get down?” Lyu asked “...Do we want to get down?”
Lucas laid on his stomach and looked into the ravine, “I see a river and in it … Is that a crocodile?!”
Lyu grabbed a baseball-sized rock and hurled it at the reptilian beast she screamed, “Die you cruel son of a-” her voice was cut off as the thump of the rock hitting its target echoed through the ravine.
A fancy-fonted number 20 appears over Lyu’s head, “Due to the rock’s density and momentum it one-hits the crocodile.” says the DM
Lyu forgets her rage and cheers, “NAT TWENTAAYYYY!!!!” punching both fists in the air. “Well now we gotta get down there because I ain’t gonna one-shot no crocodile and get nothin’ outta it!”
“ ‘Name’s Lyu, I don’t talk no real anglish while I’m excited!” Teased Rowen.
“ Heyyyy” said Lyu playfully, “well, I guess it is kinda true…”
“We all have rope right?” asked Zachary as if that conversation never happened, this was followed by a chorus of, yeah, yes, yep, etc. “well then he said, if we tie it all together then maybe we can reach the bottom, we have to go one at a time though.”
The group tied all the ropes together and finally tied it to a tree at the top of the ravine. “I’ll go first,” said Lyu as she grabbed the rope and started to descend down the ravine toward the dead crocodile. The rest of the group held the rope so if it snapped in half they would catch her. Once she reached the bottom, Lucas began to follow, Lucas slipped halfway bonking his head on a pointed rock, but luckily it only gave him a cut that was only minor and not too bad.
“ Are you okay Lucas?” Rowan asked

“ Yeah, I’m fine,” Lucas said rubbing his head. Lucas made his way down, then Zachary went down, and then Rowan was last to go down. Lyu ran over to the crocodile and dragged it over her shoulder and made her way to the water that ran through out the ravine. Zachary stood at the water's edge. Everyone else was splashing each other.
“ Are you coming Zachary?” Rowan asked

“ No … go ahead,” Zachary said, Zachary had a bad experience with water. When he was eight he went to the lake and nearly drowned ever since then if he went under water or he was splashed by surprise he would pass out.

“ Okay.” Rowan said “ are you sure?”

“ Yeah I’m sure,” Zachary said he started hyperventilating

“ Okay,” Rowan said. They soon began splashing each other again.
Meanwhile Eleanor finished her spell and Kasie cooked the food. Amethyst got water and filtered it out and then filled everyone's canteen.
“ guys I have a bad feeling,” Kasie said

“ About?” Ava asked

“ Group one, I think something bad happened,” she said

“ Like what?” Amethyst asked putting her hands on her hips.

“ I don’t know but I pretty sure one of them is hurt,” Kasie said

“ Well let’s get ready even if this is just a false alarm,” Amethyst said. They set up a bed and Eleanor got an extra healing potion out.

~Meanwhile with group one.~

Zachary was watching everyone have a great time.
“ Come on Zachary join us!” Lyu said,

“ I can’t-
Zachary was splashed with water from out of nowhere. He collapsed and passed out.

“ Zachary” they all said. They soon made it back to camp.

“ I knew it,” Kasie said, setting Zachary on the bed. She popped the healing potion into his mouth, then felt his pulse.

“ He’ll be okay,” She said “ He needs rest,”
Zachary tossed and turned all night barely getting any sleep.

“ I hope he’s alright,” Eleanor said, talking to Amethyst.

“ Me too,” She said, folding her arms.
The next day…They packed up and Rowan and Lucas carried Zachary.
After another five hours of walking Zachary woke up with dark circles under his eyes, he was pale and his eyes were bloodshot.
“ You’re awake,” Lyu said

“ I guess,” he said tiredly. “ How long was I out for?”

“ twenty-eight hours,” They said .

“ Well that explains how the sun was setting and now it’s mid day,” He said

“ Yeah true,” Rowan said

They helped Zachary walk about ten feet. Then he walked about anouther ten feet all by himself.

“ Great job,” They said, as if he were a baby learning to walk. They soon were walking again but only walked about four more miles till sunset. They set up camp and woke up the next morning at five oclock am.
“ Eek!” Eleanor squeaked

“ Did you just squeak?” Zachary asked

“ Maybe,” she said

“ Why did you squeak-


Then out of the blue Lyu, Eleanor, Rowan, and Zachary disappeared into thin air. The rest of the group set up camp and figured they should stay there for a couple days.
~Meanwhile with Rowan’s group.~

Rowan woke up to the sound of munching. He opened his eyes and found a sheep chewing on some sort of green plant. He looked around and saw Lyu, she was dangling off a cliff. Rowan jumped up and grabbed Lyu, waking her.
“ Haha I’m Bat-Man” She said, she then proceeded to shake Rowan off her arm and got up, she looked around and saw Zachary laying in a patch of green grass, Eleanor was beside him she looked to be wide awake, but soaking wet.

“Eleanor?” Lyu asked

“ Yes?” She said studying the green landmass Zachary was lying on.

“ Are you okay?” Rowan asked

“ Oh you mean, uh yes I’m fine,” Eleanor said “ I woke up in the pond over there, I nearly drowned but whatever,”

“ Oh um-”

“ What are you doing with the plant ”

“ I was trying to figure out what this is, and is it safe for Gyler if he can eat it it should be safe for humans right?” She asked

“ Gyler?” Rowan asked

“ Yes the sheep,” Eleanor said

“ Oh,” Rowan said
Lyu then walked over to Eleanor and grabbed a handful of the plant and took a bite.

“ Lyu I haven’t tested that, it could be poisonous!” Eleanor said

“ Don’t worry,” Lyu said

“ Um Lyu she’s right,” Rowan said

“What ever,” Lyu said
Eleanor finished her test and...

“ Turns out Lyu’s right it’s only miner's lettuce,” Eleanor said sighing. Zachary jolted awake, his face and neck were sweaty.

“ What the heck?” They said.`

“ Are you okay,” Rowan asked

“ Yeah fine.” He said “Where are we? Where's everyone else?”

“ Oh yeah everyone else yeah um...one sec!” Eleanor said. Eleanor ran over to where Lyu and Rowan were standing.

“ What should I say,” Eleanor asked

“Watch and learn,” Rowan said. He walked over and casually and bent down.

“ So Zachary we followed you...because you um sleep walked,” Rowan said

“ How far did I walk-

“ Three hundred miles!” Lyu said playfull then she mumbled “ I’m getting really good at this whole lying thing,”

“ yeah,” Eleanor said

“ So you’ve been following me for how many days,” Zachary asked

“Three days,” Eleanor said “ three days and we have know clue where we are!”

“ Oh sorry guys!” Zachary said

“ No problem,” Lyu said

“ So now that your awake we should find a way back to the group,” Eleanor said

“ So what way do we go?” Zachary asked

“ Um East?” Eleanor said

“ Ya’ sure?” Lyu asked

“ Nope,” She said

“You know what? We should just stop lying to him,” Lyu said, turning to Zachary, “We got teleported or something somehow and now we don’t know where we are and we don’t know where the others are.”

“ Knew it!” Zachary said

“ WHAT! How?” Lyu asked shocked

“ It’s easy I don’t sleep walk,” He said.

“ I knew I should have said sleep ran,” Rowan said. Eleanor looked at him and rolled her eyes

“ Well now what?” Zachary said looking around he sat down on a rock and started mumbling to himself. Rowan and Lyu wandered off. And Eleanor sat under a tree and put her head on her knees

“ Guys so were trapped by a huge river and waterfall and well the only safe way around the mountains,” Rowan said

“ Well mountains haven’t stopped us before I mean Lewis and clark and Edmund Hillary,” Eleanor said

“ Yeah let’s do it,” Zachary said. They packed up and gathered supplies and started to climb the mountain. When they reached the mountain they realized they had to climb.

“No nope no way,” Eleanor said stumbling back

“ You have to,” Lyu said “ I help you just follow me,”

“ I-I-I can’t, “ Eleanor said

“ Well I guess we can’t go ether,” Zachary said

“ Wait what,” Eleanor said

“ We either go, we don’t,” Zachary said. Lyu grabbed a sharpe from her backpack, “ I’ll draw where to put to put your hands and feet,” Lyu said
Lyu grabbed the rock and started climbing drawing as she went. Eleanor then grabbed where Lyu had drawn she held on with only her fingertips Rowan put in hands under her feet giving her a boost. She put her hands in the next spot Eleanor grabbed the top and pulled herself onto the ground. Then she pulled Rowan up then Zachary.

“ You did it!” They said

“ I guess I did,” Eleanor said, collapsing to the floor. The sun started setting.

“ Well let’s set up camp,” Rowan said

They made a fire and ate some leftover rabbit meat.

“ I’m going to bed,” Eleanor said

“ Right now?” Lyu asked

“ Yeah,” She said climbing into her tent. After a while the rest of the group stopped talking and heard Eleanor crying.

“ Should we go check on her,” Zachary looked at the tent.

“ No she’s fine,” Lyu said “ It’s just she’s-

“ Well I’m going to bed and um see you guys in the morning,” Rowan said

“ Night!,” Lyu called after him

“ Well you and I can take the first watch,” Zahary said looking at the fire.
“ Yeah,” Lyu said she grabbed the nearest stick and pulled out her pocket knife, she started whittling. Zachary stood up and looked around.

“ you were saying something before Rowan interrupted you,” Zachary

“ Oh yeah she’s just been through alot she was telling me that after she moved her parents divorced,” Lyu said

“ Oh,” Zachary said

“ Yeah,” Lyu said
The rest of the night nothing happened, only Rowan slept talking.
In the morning they packed up and continued.

~Four days later~

“ Well now what?” Eleanor asked

“ It’s been over four days! We’ve made no progress,” Zachary said

“ Not true!” Rowan replied

“ Yeah we made it more than halfway across the mountain,” Lyu said
Eleanor vanished up the trail at a crazy pace. Zachary followed her with Lyu and Rowan close behind.
“ Eleanor” Zachar yelled trying to catch up with Eleanor
“ Don’t Call Me Eleanor!” Eleanor said “ Call me by my nickname,”

“ And that is?” he asked

“ Elliot!” Eleanor said “ That’s my nickname!”

“ Okay Elliot!” Zachary said, catching up to her “ Can we talk?”

“ Wait, I think we are there!” Eleanor said Smiling “ And you can call me whatever you want!”

“ Okay Eleanor?!” Zachary said walking up to her and touched her shoulder “ Oh my! WE MADE IT!” He yelled to bring Lyu and Rowan up there faster.

“ We did it!” Lyu said

“ Yeah!” Rowan said “ Wait, is that Kasie?”

Elliot started to cry and turned around into lyu and Zachary squeezing them both. Then motioned Rowan to join them

“ Um...Fine,” He said, walking over to her and joining the hug.
