~Basic Plant Needs

-Sunlight: can have different effects in morning, evening, or afternoon
-Water: don't overwater, consider drainage
-Soil: Different types have different nutrient levels and different qualities, pH(acidity/basicness)is important
-Soil pH range is usually 4.5-9, but entire scale ranges 0-14
-There's a spell which will send out colored mist to test the ground's pH:

Wand Movement: 2 curved blades of grass(start at bottom and curve in, then out)

~A Little TLC

-Most plants aren't sentient
-Pay lots of care/attention to a plant
-While you don't need to 'feed' your plant each day, you should check it daily
-Sing to plants(especially magical ones)
-Roses enjoy love songs("Kisses Sweeter than Wine", "December Rose"
-Vines thrive on jazz
-Autumn/winter blooming flowers like sad songs("The Phoenix Lament")
-Trees like older songs(hymns, symphonies)
-Bushes like songs with attitude
-Dangerous plants prefer a bit of humor

~The Life Cycle of A Plant

-Life spans can span from weeks to 5000 years!
-On average, annual plants(ex: pansies, peas) have shorter life spans and trees tend to have longer spans
-Harvesting plants can go repeatedly sometimes
-Growing: Seed, to sprout, to maturation, ends when plant is fully recognizable, don't overwater/disturb, may be followed by germination or reproduction
-Repotting: May be needed often or not at all, needs to be repotted when it's grown too big for its current pot and stopped growing/started wilting
-Plants may change diets during this time(Ex: Gaviat Roots will eat 2/3 less than before)
-Amount of water may increase/decrease
-Harvesting: May happen rather frequently, involves cutting off a piece of the plant away from original plant(Ex: picking an apple is harvesting an apple)
-With more dangerous plants, wear gloves!
-Some plants are too dangerous to even use hands, so use the Severing Charm to help you:
