Backstory

Growing up in the muggle world gave me a pretty intuitive grasp of what the world consisted of and how we interact with that world. Stepping into the magical world was a huge pace and viewpoint change for me. I was unable to understand many of the underlying concepts of magic, just because they strayed from what I had learned when I was younger. I am currently working on finding the fundamental or elementary link between the muggle-scientific and magical world. These links lay everywhere around us (with many magical limitations matching up with what muggles would consider to be impossible), but I am searching for a particular structure which can be relied upon to equate the two worlds. My time studying magic has taught me a lot about the foundation of magic, but I continue to search for something deeper. The foundations may be interesting, but the land it lays on, and the dirt below can be just as interesting, if not more. I get a lot of ridicule from the magic world for putting so much effort into something that may seem useless. The spells we use just work: why should we need to know why if we know how to use them? This concept haunts me every day. Hopefully, my exploits return something positive that can be used to evolve the way we interact with magic: the same way muggles have shifted the way they interact with their world over time.
