Backstory

I'm an Irish half-blood wizard. Me mother is a witch descended from Morgan Le Fay, though she never took to the Dark Arts like many others in her family. Instead she married a muggle and was ostracized from the rest of the family. I grew up in a muggle home and didn't even know I was a wizard until I got my Hogwarts letter. That's when me mam told the truth to my father who took it pretty well now that I think about it. Everyone is always surprised when they find out that I'm a Gryffindor, me mam included, since I think and act so much like a Ravenclaw. I suppose the Sorting Hat just saw too much of me dad in me to put me in the same house as her. I'm not sure what I want to do when I graduate Hogwarts, but I love Quidditch and find Ollivander's work fascinating.
