Backstory

I was sorted into the Ravenclaw house, but I was a hatstall. The sorting hat whispered into my ears as it debated between Gryffindor and my house. Smarts have always been my strong suit, but I had never recognized my bravery until the hat mentioned the attribute. I exceeded in and enjoyed all my classes, but Defense Against the Dark Arts had always brought me excitement and I always preferred it above the others. As a half-blood, I have been mistreated in the Wizarding World, but never worse than some of my muggleborn peers. During the time when He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named rose into power, I have been affronted with temptation to join His followers. But, I knew my place and my future early on, and I knew I would become an Auror. My mental and physical strength allow me to succeed in my work, but often times my friendships and loyalties hold me back. After I graduated Hogwarts, I worked and studied long hours to find my dream job, battling against dark magic. I feel that opportunity is the most fascinating aspect of magic, allowing all who hold its power to use it themselves to fulfill their destinies. Using my magic for the benefit and safety of others, I put my best efforts forward to defy against evil and discrimination.
