• Biography:
I was born in Venice, Italy on November 23rd, 2004 to Alessia and Percy Castro as a pureblood. Because there was a lack of jobs in Italy, my parents decided to move in 2008 to London. Now, my parents both work in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement within the Wizengamot. They both lead very busy lives and are rarely home.
Because I often found that I felt lonely, I would occupy my time with solving riddles and reading. When I was not doing this, I was attending a private Muggle school; one I attended up until Grade 6. Because of this, I managed to learn how to learn about muggle life. This is where I learned that I absolutely loved to write novels and practice art. To this day, I still read. write, draw, and paint in my free time.
Eventually, the day came to when I went on the train to Hogwarts. I can't deny that I was going to miss my family and the house elves, even, but it would be good for me, nonetheless.
When I arrived at Hogwarts, I was sorted into the Ravenclaw house. I was never necessarily brave or courageous, so I could easily rule Gryffindor out. I've always tried to be selfless and kind, though that was mostly just for the praise that I would get from it, so I could likely rule out Hufflepuff. That left either Ravenclaw or Slytherin. While I do find myself to be ambitious, a strange part of me felt like I was part of Slytherin because I am so observant when it comes to people— I study them when I know they're lying to see what the difference is between when they're telling the truth and not. If I had to defeat an opponent a certain way, I would have done it by tricking them, so in that sense, I am cunning. But because I'm not courageous, I would fear dancing a fine line like that in combat.
So that leaves Ravenclaw. I don't find myself to be overly intelligent, though I do pride myself on being partially smart, likely due to the riddles and puzzles I used to do growing up. I am a very artistic individual, something often linked with creativity, which draws the line right back to Ravenclaw. If I couldn't manipulate someone, I would attempt to outsmart them nonetheless, so that also points to my house. Because of this, I believe that the Sorting Hat was correct about me.
While I cannot say that my life has ever been necessarily interesting or coveting— I am not finished with it yet. I am only a first-year and I am excited for later things to come forth.
