Backstory

Nobody ever said it would be easy to be a Hufflepuff in her fifth year at Hogwarts. I like being one, but, as surprising as it sounds, it's tiring having to meet the expectations people have for us. Sometimes I'd like to yell "fuck you" at everyone, but because I'm sure I'll get punished and I don't want to spend an entire afternoon with Professor McGonaggall, I've never done it and never will. People also have the idea that we are manipulable or stupid, but it's not true, we can also be very smart and cunning. Hufflepuffs should not be the laughing stock of Hogwarts, maybe we are not as ambitious as Slytherins or as brave as Gryffindors, but we are loyal and kind. If we see someone in trouble, no matter who it is, we will go and help and if we have to sacrifice ourselves for a loved one, we will do it without hesitation. And these for me are the most important qualities in a person.

I come from a muggle family, so when I received a letter from Hogwarts I didn't know how to feel. At first I thought my mum had cheated on my dad, but then they told me that that was not true. I was relieved and also kinda disappointed... I mean, it would have made me main character material, which means I would probably have had a hot boyfriend. Right now, as an old student, I don't get surprised about the magical stuff anymore. You really get to see the craziest things at this school. My favourite class is Potions, because it's a pretty interesting class AND it always comes in handy knowing how to prepare a love potion, if you know what I mean ;). I also like broomstick lessons, but I'm not really good at it, because whenever I'm riding one my acrophobia says no and I panic. In my free time, I'm usually reading and when I'm not, you can probably find me sleeping in my room, 'cause life's tiring over here...
